Fiamma Rossa was formed in September 2008 by Julian Ferraro, Henry Fryer and Henry’s Mum. The three bought the car in Stratford on Avon from Myles Castaldini (http://www.castaldini.co.uk/) . On their return journey they stopped for a meal and discussed names for their racing team. After a while the chosen name emerged. With Julian’s Italian heritage it seemed only fitting. The translation of Fiamma Rossa into English is Red Flame. After two incidents Julian is now the entrant and Henry Fryer is their 18 year old driver. Any repairs that are needed on the car are executed with extreme care and skill by Julian Ferraro in his garage (www.julianferraro.com) The Wilton based team is in the Monoposto racing club (http://www.monoposto.co.uk/) in the 1600 class. They have raced all over the country and their first year has been a lot of fun. Here’s to a promising future for Fiamma Rossa racing team.
